Commissioned in 2004 by Ms. Felicity Johnson for her daughter Lindsay.
Size: 72" wide by 108" long.
Fabrics used: 100% cotton fabric and washable batting. |

| Technique: 9" cotton squares were pieced together to create the quilt top. Then a secondary design was created by free motion machine embroidery. These squares were embroidered on point. The quilt was then quilted in a grid pattern to reinforce the embroidery design. | ||

Technique: I drafted a 16 pointed star. Circles of fabric were pieced in squares and then the star template was placed on top of the squares, traced around, cut out and appliquéd by machine onto a second set of pieced squares. Then the 16 pointed stars, or Annabelle's flowers as I call them, were appliquéd onto the quilt top. The machine quilting was designed by me and was done by Kathy Schaerer on her long arm quilting machine. |
